Christopher Anderson ![]() Chris Anderson As a Brunswick West resident he is a member of a number of community groups, is Secretary of the Moreland ALP,sits on the Transport Policy Committee of the ALP and is Secretary of the Coburg Branch. Chris can be contacted on 9384 1241 or via email Sonia Ahmad Sonia works part time and is responsible for advising Carlo on the Arabic community, youth issues, immigration, public housing and general constituent issues. Sonia went to school at Brunswick Secondary College and is studying psychology at RMIT. She is active in the local Arabic community and in women's issues and sits on a number of community and council communities dealing with youth and Arabic community related issues. Later this year SOnia will also be attending Youth Parliament. Sonia can be contacted on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9384 1241 or via email Michael Caputo Michael works part time and is responsible for advising Carlo on political, education, youth, and multicultural matters. He also works on special projects. Michael is studying at La Trobe University. Michael has lived all his life in Brunswick and is active in local branches, is a Board member of the Moreland Community Health Service, is on the local YWCA Board, and is active in Young Labor. Michael can be contacted on Thursdays & Fridays at 9384 1241 or via email Sam Liistro Sam works part time fundraising and liaising with the Italian community, one of the largest groups in the Coburg community. Sam has been recognised for his many years of community work, having been awarded with an Order of Australia and last year a Victorian Multicultural Commission Award of Excellence. Student placements/work experience Parliamentary Internships are palced with our office through a program jointly managed by Parliament House, and local Univiersities. Each Semester a student is placed in our office with a project. Past projects have included a study of Sydney Road, Privacy Codes, Industrial Manslaughter, Social Capital, Refugee Issues and Bus Services.
